Santa Fe is known as the City Different.  It is one of the most artistic and historic cities in the United States with the nation’s oldest state capital!  People say there is no better city to visit.  On our first visit, we instantly knew why.  The city has a rich culture and history dating back 400+ years.  It is the perfect city to relax, play, and experience history.  You can see the multi-cultural history in everything in the city from the fine details in the buildings to the flavors in the food to the beautiful art that you will see while walking the streets.  In addition, the great thing about Santa Fe is that we have one of the sunniest states in the country with over 300 sunny days a year.  With that being said, you should keep in mind the elevation when planning your trip and the amount of walking you plan on doing.

As mentioned above, Santa Fe has arguable one of the largest art markets in the entire country.  There are many galleries that you could visit during your stay, and dealers to purchase art from to take home.  In addition, there are multiple museums that your family would enjoying exploring that highlights the special culture, history, and traditions of the past.  For the music lovers, Santa Fe also has a world-class Opera that will be music to anyone’s ear.
